What happens on the evening?

Just before the start of the dating you’ll take a seat at a table for two, where you’ll date the person across from you for 3-5 minutes, depending on the number of people attending the event. At the end of the date, a bell will sound - you’ll then have one minute to discreetly indicate on your matchcard whether you’d like to see that person again.

The women remain seated, the men move around the room to the next date on their matchcard, and so on, until everyone has completed all their dates. We take breaks during the dating where you can get a drink at the bar before the next round begins.

At the end of the Speed Dating, we’ll collect the top copy of your matchcard - you keep the other copy so you can input your matches later on. Once the Speed Dating is over, we welcome you to stay on chatting to the people you’ve just met.

After the evening, you will need to log onto our website and input your matches.

When do I get my matches?

To find out who you have matched with, you will need to log on to our website after the event and submit your ticks from your matchcard. This must be done within 3 days of the event as the matching process will then close.

Details of your matches will appear on the screen once you have input your ticks - you will be given an email address and/or mobile number, depending on the person’s preferences.
